With the Family group plan, you receive an official invitation directly to your email from Fastmail as one of up to six members in the Family plan. Once activated, you get your own Fastmail inbox inside the shared family package, with separate mailbox, calendar, and contacts independent from other members. The per-slot price is shown automatically on the plan card and is cheaper than subscribing to Individual on your own, perfect if you want premium email with a family or personal domain without paying full price.
Important rules: since your account is tied to the shared family package, please do not change the password, change the primary email, or remove other members from the plan. Actions like these can break access for you and others, and the admin cannot recover it without buying a new plan. All members share one bill, not one account, so your inbox stays separate and private even within the same package. As long as you follow the rules, the subscription renews automatically every month.
Right now the 1-user private plan is open and activates immediately after payment, while the group plan waits until the slots are filled before activation. You can still reserve a slot in the group plan now and the admin will contact you once the group is complete and the subscription is activated. The official invitation will be sent to the email you register, so make sure that email is valid and can receive messages from overseas.
