This shared plan gives you access to a National Geographic Print & Digital 1-year subscription via a shared account credential. One official National Geographic account is used by up to 4 people at the same time, and each slot pays a small portion of the full price. Access includes all digital content in the app and website, plus the print edition that will be sent to a shared address coordinated by the JoinBareng team.
Credential sharing rules: do not change the password, do not change the account email, and do not log other members out of their devices. Because all slots use the same account, any credential change will affect other members and may cause the vendor to disable the account. Simply log in on your own device and read as needed. JoinBareng will send login details after your payment is verified.
For the plans currently available, JoinBareng offers a 1-user (private) option while group plans with multiple slots will launch later. You do not need to wait for the group to fill, and the account is activated for you right away. Once group plans are available, you can invite friends or wait for other members to fill the available slots. Payment is still processed via QRIS or bank transfer in Indonesian Rupiah, and invoices are sent via WhatsApp.
The print edition will be sent to one shared address coordinated by the team, then forwarded to each member based on internal group agreement. International shipping and customs fees are not included in the slot price and will be discussed separately. Payments are processed by a payment provider supervised by Bank Indonesia, so transactions remain safe and traceable.
