This shared plan uses credential-based access, meaning you log in to a shared SCMP account that already has an active Digital Standard monthly subscription. You get full access to articles, premium pieces, and all paid content of SCMP throughout the chosen monthly period. The price per slot appears automatically on the package card and is significantly cheaper than paying for a full private subscription.
Important rules to keep the shared account comfortable for everyone: do not change the password or email of the account, do not log out other devices that are currently signed in, and use only one device at a time to avoid session conflicts. Violations of these rules can lock out access for all members of the group and we cannot be held responsible. As long as you use it wisely, access will remain stable throughout the period.
For the 1-user package currently available, you immediately get a personal slot without waiting for the group to fill up. Activation is handled by the JoinBareng team after your payment is received, and login credentials are sent via WhatsApp. The group package that allows several people to share one account will be opened later, and while waiting you can already start subscribing via the 1-user package first.
