The Japan Times group plan uses shared login access, not an invitation to a personal email. Once payment is confirmed and the group is full, the admin activates the subscription and sends the login credentials to all members via WhatsApp. Pricing per slot depends on the number of members in the group and is shown automatically on the plan card. Group plan pricing has not been announced yet and will be released soon.
Members must follow shared account rules: do not change the password or email, do not log out other devices while other members still need access, and do not modify any account information. Because the access type is shared credential, all members use the same login, so any rule violation directly impacts the other members. Anyone who violates these rules will lose their slot without a refund since the cause is on the user's side.
The 1-user (private) plan is open now, giving the reader full access to a personal account via the pay-on-behalf service. The group plan is coming soon, meaning readers who want to share costs must wait until the group plan is officially launched. Once available, orders can be placed directly through The Japan Times product page on JoinBareng.
