With the IDrive Personal 5TB monthly group buy, you get shared credential access to an active IDrive account ready for backing up all your devices. The 5TB capacity is shared with up to 3 people per group, making the per-slot cost significantly cheaper than subscribing solo. Access is delivered as login credentials via WhatsApp, so you simply sign in to the IDrive app with the username and password provided by JoinBareng's admin.
Rules for shared account use: do not change the password, do not change the account email, and do not intentionally log out other devices. Doing any of these will lock the other group members out of their slots. If you experience any login or app issues, contact JoinBareng's admin first instead of modifying the credentials yourself.
Currently the 1-user (private) plan is open, while the group plan with up to 3 people per slot will be available soon. For the 1-user plan, you don't need to wait for a group to fill because your slot activates immediately after payment. When the group plan officially opens, you'll see a more affordable per-slot price because the cost is split among multiple users.
The monthly plan is perfect if you want to try IDrive first without a yearly commitment, or if you need extra backup only for a specific period such as a big project. Because it's billed monthly, there's no long contract and you can stop at any cycle.
