This Filen group buy plan uses a credential-based sharing system, meaning you log in to a shared Filen account with other group members. You will receive login credentials from the admin once the group is full and the plan is activated. The 200 GiB capacity on the Pro I plan is enough for storing documents, photos, and light encrypted backups. Since all members share the same account, the effective capacity you experience depends on collective usage — reasonable for users who need E2E privacy but do not store massive files.
There are important rules to follow when using a shared account. Never change the account password or email, as that would lock out other members. Do not log out other members' sessions from the web or client apps, and avoid adding unnecessary two-factor authentication. Respect the quota and usage etiquette so all members have a smooth experience. Right now, the 1-user (private) plan is open; group plans will follow once the system is ready.
If you choose a group plan and the group is not yet full at the time of order, JoinBareng will wait until all slots are filled before activating the account. You will not be charged extra while waiting, and we will keep you updated via WhatsApp. Once the group is full, the admin activates the plan and sends the credentials. This approach makes shared subscription costs significantly more affordable than the retail price of a Filen Pro plan.
