With the xAI API group-buy plan, you pay for one slot out of four available slots and receive login credentials for a shared account pre-loaded with US$5 worth of Grok API credit (the minimum top-up). You do not create your own account; instead you use an existing account that has been topped up, splitting the cost with three other developers. What you get is access to the Grok API at a much lower per-slot cost compared to setting up a prepaid account yourself from Indonesia.
Shared-account rules: do not change the password, do not change the email, and do not log out other devices. Because this is a shared account, one user's actions can affect everyone else. Use the available API key or generate your own if the dashboard allows it, and never share credentials with people outside the group. Usage rotates among members and there is no guaranteed per-person token quota, so please use it reasonably.
Right now, the 1-user (private) plan is open. The group plan with the wait-until-4-members-full system will follow later. When the group plan goes live, the flow is: choose the plan, pay via QRIS, then wait until the group fills up before the admin activates the account and sends the credentials. While waiting, do not transfer before receiving slot confirmation.
