The Polycam Basic group plan is currently opened as a 1-user private slot. Group packages with up to 2 users per group are being prepared and will be available soon. Once the group plan goes live, you'll receive credential access to a shared account used by other group members, with the active period matching the package you purchased. The account includes Basic-tier features: Gaussian splatting, photogrammetry, cloud storage, and model exports — no upgrade to Business or Enterprise.
Shared account rules: do not change the password or email, do not log out other members' devices, and use the account within reasonable limits. If these rules are broken, admin can revoke your access. Because the access type is credential-based and everyone logs into the same account, remember to log out from personal devices when you're done, especially on office or shared computers. The monthly plan renews each billing period; to stop, simply skip the next renewal.
If you sign up while the group is not yet full, your order is recorded and you'll be notified via WhatsApp as soon as the group reaches the minimum members and the subscription is activated. Activation time after the group is full is typically 1–5 minutes for digital services like Polycam. While waiting, you can prepare your scanning project or check that your device (iPhone Pro, iPad Pro, or mirrorless camera) is ready to capture.
