The Essentials tier is the Pay Monthly plan that covers the core needs of paper writing: reference manager, PDF reader with annotations, cross-device sync, and citation integration with Word and LaTeX. You get full access to the shared account for the same monthly period as a full-price Personal plan, but the cost is split with one other user.
Since you are using a shared credential, it is important not to change the password, email, or log out other devices from that account. Such actions will disrupt the session of the other user sharing your slot. Just log in on your own devices with the credentials given by the admin, and leave the session active until the end of the period.
The one-user (private) package is open now and available for purchase immediately. The group package that maximizes slots up to two people per group will follow and will be activated once the group is filled. While waiting, you can still order a private slot to get access right away without having to wait.
